Request an Appointment

Request to see a Doctor

Patients no longer need to telephone to book an appointment with a clinician. You must now complete a simple  online medical request form via our website, which allows you submit a short medical or administrative query to the Surgery for review by our  GP Triage Team.

The form is available for clinical queries from 8-4pm Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays), however in the event we reach a safe working capacity, the clinical submissions will be switched off for that day.

For administrative enquiries the form is available 7 days a week, please note that forms submitted out of hours will not be looked at until the next working day.

Please don't worry if you do not have access to the internet or have difficulty with IT, you can pop into the surgery and a member of our Reception Team will be happy to complete and submit a medical or admin query on your behalf. If you're unable to get to the surgery then please telephone us instead on 01959 523929. Once your submission has been reviewed by the Triage Team, we will contact you with the outcome.

Request to see a Nurse

Appointments for any nursing procedures such as smears, dressings, diabetic checks, ECG's etc can be made by calling the surgery on 01959 523929 or by completing an online medical request form.

Out of Hours Cover

Out of Hours cover (from 18:30 at night through to 08:00 the following morning) is provided by 111.

Enhanced Access

Local GP practices are working together to offer patients better access to GP appointments in the Sevenoaks area – that means you will be able to see a GP, Practice Nurse or other health professional at a time which is most convenient to you. At Otford we offer late evening appointments (18:30 – 20:00) one evening each week and the occasional Saturday (09:00 – 13:00) on a rota with other practices in the area.

Referral to a Hospital or Specialist

On certain occasions the Doctor will refer you to a hospital to see a specialist. If you have been referred in this way you should normally receive confirmation of an appointment within four weeks of the referral taking place. If you have still not heard anything after four weeks then please contact the surgery and we will look into the matter for you. In some instances you may be asked to book your own appointments through the Choose & Book Service.

The surgery receives many enquiries requesting that we write a letter to chase up or expedite a hospital appointment / operation. It is now the Hospitals that are now obliged to respond to any queries you might have about your care.
