Ordering a Repeat Prescription
Repeat Prescriptions
These are provided by computer and usually you will be asked to come in to see your Doctor or our Clinical Pharmacist at regular intervals to have the medication reviewed.
Please note that in the interest of patient safety, it is practice policy to refuse to issue further medication if a patient repeatedly fails to attend for their medication review. However you will receive written notice of this with your final prescription.
To avoid errors, requests for repeat prescriptions are NOT accepted by telephone.
Please submit an AccuRx admin form for all prescription queries. A prescription line is available between 09:30 - 12:30 Monday to Friday (select option 2) this is for urgent queries ONLY.
Repeat Prescriptions Online
Please either request your repeat prescriptions using our Contact us online form, or if you have registered for Online Services, you can request via Patient Access or the NHS App.
If you are not able to order online, please bring or send your pharmacy repeat prescription to the practice, clearly marking which items you require.
Please allow at least 72 hours for any medication request to be processed.
If you have signed up for EPS (Electronic Prescribing System) your request for medication will be authorised by your GP and sent electronically to the pharmacy of your choice without the need for a paper prescription to be printed out.
To use the EPS service please complete the form at reception indicating which is your chosen pharmacy.
We are not a dispensing practice.
